Social Studies

The Social Studies course offerings at Riverton High School include World and Regional Studies, US History, and US Government. These classes are offered to Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors respectively. The purpose of the social science classes is to promote local, state, national and global learning for our students. These courses are comprehensive courses in which students use a broad range of skills to enhance understanding and prepare our students for post high school and workplace success. Technical, problem solving, group, and individual skills are incorporated in each of these classes to enhance student understanding and learning.
