The mission of the Mathematics Department is to prepare all of its students to be competent mathematicians in society. The graduation requirement is to successfully pass three math classes.
Dual Credit courses are offered through Labette Community College and are optional and the cost of enrollment is the student’s obligation. These courses enable a student to earn college math credit as they take the courses taught by our staff. The courses are College Algebra (3 credit hours), College Trigonometry ( 3 credit hours) and Calculus ( 5 credit hours).
