Reality U

On Tuesday, Nov. 19, RHS hosted a Reality U event for Juniors and Sophomores in the afternoon.

The Reality U event was a financial literacy simulation held in the Fieldhouse, where the students engaged in managing their life as a 26-year-old. They experienced scenarios of parenting, filing insurance claims, saving for retirement, etc.

There was a group of 20+ community volunteers assisting with the event- business owners, board members, parents/grandparents, and even a few retired teachers.

Ms. Radlund had students prepare and serve the meal for our community volunteers.

Several FFA students helped set-up and ran the event as well.

There will be a follow-up reflection for 10th and 11th grade students in RISE on the 20th.
