Many teachers spoke of students’: hard work, soft skills, overcoming hardships and obstacles, kindness, leadership, stepping up without being asked, sharpening skills voluntarily, teaching teachers lessons, positivity, respect, compassion, perseverance, persistence, self-direction, dependability, character development, and personal growth.
Only one medal per educator made it so difficult that there were lists of honorable mentions!

The family of USD 404 grew our hearts three sizes today as we recognized these very special students. Congratulations to each one! You deserve to be celebrated!
